The system is designed to remove polymer residues, gels, carbon deposits, pigments, and process contaminants from disc filter assemblies while preserving the integrity of the metallic filtration media. This mechanism works on an inside-to-outside backwash which is from the Hard Hub to the disc surface media.

Using a controlled high-pressure backwash process, the machine delivers uniform cleaning performance, reduces manual labor, and extends the service life of disc filters. The automated cycle ensures repeatable cleaning quality with minimal operator intervention.

CLEANING PRINCIPLE

Disc filters are securely mounted inside the cleaning chamber, where they are cleaned using precisely controlled high-pressure hydro-air jet technology. The system effectively removes polymer residues and contaminants while protecting the filter media.

Reverse Flow Backwash Cleaning

High-pressure hydro-air jets are directed from the hub perforations toward the outer filter surface, reversing the normal filtration flow. This backwash action efficiently dislodges embedded contaminants from the mesh media without damaging the filter.

Simultaneous Multi-Disc Cleaning

The machine is capable of cleaning up to six disc filters simultaneously.

PLC-Based Automatic Operation

All cleaning parameters—including cleaning duration, operating pressure, spray sequence, indexing, and complete cleaning cycle—are fully programmable through the PLC-based control system, ensuring consistent and repeatable cleaning performance.

Closed-Loop Water Recirculation System

The cleaning machine incorporates a closed-loop water recycling system. Used cleaning water is collected, passed through a 5-micron cartridge filtration system to remove contaminants, and recirculated back into the process. This minimizes fresh water consumption, reduces wastewater generation, lowers operating costs, and supports environmentally sustainable operation.
