WORKING PRINCIPLE

Working Principle

The Bubble Point Test is based on the principle that a wetted porous filter retains liquid within its pores due to surface tension. As compressed air pressure is gradually increased, the pressure at which the first continuous stream of bubbles appears is recorded as the Bubble Point Pressure, confirming the integrity of the metallic filter media.

The test is completely non-destructive, allowing the filter to be safely reused after successful testing.
