Automatic High-Pressure Candle Filter Cleaning

Purofiltec manufactures Automatic High-Pressure Candle Cleaning Machines for efficient cleaning of metallic candle filters used in polymer melt and industrial filtration applications. The system is designed to remove polymer residues, TiO₂, pigments, gels, carbon deposits, and process contaminants from the filter surface and internal passages.

Using a combination of internal flushing nozzles and external washing nozzles, the machine delivers thorough cleaning from inside to outside with high efficiency and repeatable performance. The automated process reduces manual labor, improves cleaning consistency, and extends the service life of candle filters.

CLEANING PRINCIPLE

The candle filter is mounted on a rotating support and cleaned in multiple stages using high-pressure water jets.

Internal Washing

High-pressure nozzle cleans the inside of the candle filter.

External Washing

External nozzle removes deposits from the outer surface.
